Privacy Policy at Dixon’s Forum is still under development.   Basically, I only want your first name and email address when you post a comment.   The whole point of the whole website is to have conversations about ideas, so I want you to feel safe and comfortable joining in.

The AntiSpam uses cookies and JavaScript, so if you block cookies or disable JavaScript your comments will be marked as Spam.   But I will read them anyway and attempt to rescue them from that awful fate.   Posting a comment implies permission to give you a cookie.

This website is constructed with core WordPress plus a handful of plugins, each with its own privacy policy, so my privacy policy must include theirs too.   Below is a list of the privacy policies for all the plugins in dixonsforum.com:

Here is a link to the Privacy Policy Page that came with WordPress: link to https://dixonsforum.com/index.php/privacy-policy-2/ , for us to model our Privacy Policies upon, from https://dixonsforum.com/index.php/privacy-policy-2/.

Here is a link to the Privacy Policy of WordPress itself link to https://wordpress.org/about/privacy/  from https://wordpress.org/about/privacy/.

The LiteSpeed Cache Plugin has its Privacy Policy buried in a PopUp under https://www.litespeedtech.com.   You have to go to the bottom right corner of the page (in the We Use Cookies banner) and click on  privacy policy  link to https://www.litespeedtech.com .   Also,  link to https://www.quic.cloud/privacy-policy/  takes you to their QUIC.cloud Privacy Policy at https://www.quic.cloud/privacy-policy/.   QUIC.cloud is some sort of third-party data storage thing, I think.   LiteSpeed Cache speeds up the website so you don’t get Whirlywheel Hypnosis.

Here is a link to the Elementor Plugin Privacy Policy:   link to https://givewp.com/privacy-policy/   from https://elementor.com/about/privacy/, and the Elementor Plugin Cookie policy:   link to https://elementor.com/terms/cookie-policy/   fromhttps://elementor.com/terms/cookie-policy/.   Dixonsforum.com uses Elementor to stick my logo image behind the text on the weekly Activities’ home pages, and the image carousel at About Me   It has a lot of other bells & whistles I may find uses for too.

I could not find any Privacy Policy for the Fonts Plugin by Google Fonts Typography (not affiliated with Google).   It seems to share the WordPress.org Privacy Policy   https://wordpress.org/about/privacy/  from https://wordpress.org/about/privacy/.   (Please, anybody, correct me if I’m wrong through Contact Me.)   Google Fonts Typography provides fancy fonts for the poems.

Here is the link to the All In One Security Plugin Privacy Policy:   link to https://aiosplugin.com/privacy-policy/   from https://aiosplugin.com/privacy-policy/.   All In One WP Security handles the firewalls, anti-spam, hacker blocking and the like, to keep your data safe.

Here is the link to the UpdraftPlus Plugin Data Protection and Privacy Centre:   link to https://updraftplus.com/data-protection-and-privacy-centre/   from https://updraftplus.com/data=protection-and-privacy-centre/.   Updraft Plus handles the backups.

Here is the link to the SEOPress Plugin Privacy/Cookies Policy:   https://www.seopress.org/privacy-policy/  from https://www.seopress.org/privacy-policy/.   SEOPress will be handling the Googlebots and analytics, when I get around to that.

Here is a link to the GiveWP Plugin Privacy Policy:  link to https://givewp.com/privacy-policy/   from https://givewp.com/privacy-policy/.   GiveWP is a fundraising plugin I was going to use for the tip jar,   It keeps track of donations and their donors.

Here is the link to Stripe Payment Gateway Privacy Policy:   link to https://stripe.com/privacy   from https://stripe.com/privacy/.   Stripe is the default payment gateway of GiveWP.

The Hostinger Plugin Privacy Policy can be found here:   link to https://www.hostinger.com/legal/privacy-policy   at https://www.hostinger.com/legal/privacy-policy.   The Hostinger Plugin is the interface between WordPress, my Content Management System, and Hostinger, my Website Hosting Service.
