Dixon's Forum

DIDN’T spend a lot of time on Dixon’s Forum this week, but I have copied a new Drop Cap style from Mark Twain.    The Prince and the Pauper is so spellbinding I hit Chapter XXVIII before becoming consciously aware the first word is all caps along with the Drop Cap.    Or maybe it’s because I just got new glasses.

Can’t put my style on the Elementor Drop Capped Paragraph, though — even though I type in two nonbreaking spaces, it still puts only one after the sentences.  🙁  Works fine everywhere else though.

Decided not to present the next “Diégo el Ciégo” strip this time, not because it’s probably the stupidest thing I’ve ever written, but because preparing one of the comic strips is much more complicated than putting together an “Unentitled” installment, and I simply don’t have the brain power this week.    But never fear, the stupidest thing I’ve ever written will be posted sometime soon.

I did get started on the first Gallimauf, though, and hope against odds it will be done in time for next week’s activity.
